MILLER GUITAR ACADEMY POLICY SHEET as of October 2013
In order to best serve our students, we have the following policies. Please make sure we have your e-mail address to receive pertinent e-mails reminding you of break weeks, related events and deadlines. Some information is available in our waiting room. All your contact information including e-mail addresses are kept private and not shared with any one other than Stephen or Joellen Miller or your instructor.
PAYMENTS: LATE PAYMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO LATE CHARGES OF $5.00 PER WEEK FOR UNPAID TUITION BALANCES PAST THE DUE DATE UNLESS ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE AHEAD OF TIME.
The student should be at each class on time. If a student misses we ask that they or a parent contact the instructor to find out what was missed.
Your teacher is not obligated to reschedule or refund for any missed or canceled lessons for any reason.
Attendance on bad weather days is up to the individual. Classes will be canceled only if there is a weather emergency. If you are unsure about attending it is up to the student or parent to contact us at 255-9343 since public notices may vary.
Students who have severe colds or flu should not attend a class so that it is not passed on to others.
We cannot be responsible for any child after they leave the classroom as we are busy with the next scheduled students. Also, our lot does not have curb pick-up like a full-day school and students are walking out into the same area as exiting cars. We also have had traffic cut through our lot. Please be mindful that Jefferson is a busy street and our building is fairly close to the street.
Students must be picked up immediately when their lesson time has ended as we cannot keep watch over the waiting room or the parking lot.
No child of any age should be out in the parking lot without a parent or adult.
Children ages 3-6 must have a parent in our waiting room during the lesson and not leave our academy during the lesson time.
